Brunei Accenture Group Networks, BAG Networks, is pleased to develop an online Accounting System that will eventually be part of an online Business Management Solution for the Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Brunei and abroad.
Our collaborative efforts seek to understand the immediate and future requirements of a suitable back office function for our local SMEs in order to organise them, ease the day to day running of their business, gives financial data and direction in order to help them grow their business at the earliest opportunities. It is hoped that this project will help meet the nation’s objective of assisting the development of private sectors in Brunei Darussalam.
In a fast changing an competitive business environment, BAG Networks extends to our fellow SMEs to capture the oppurtunities in ICT as a needed stepping stone that will ensure the survival and development of SMEs in Brunei. BAG Networks is willing to work together alongside public and private entities to realise and achieve this oppurtunity
BAG PROFILE
BAG Networks is the prime contractor for the implementation of Treasury Accounting and Financial Information System (TAFIS) for the Ministry of Finance, the Government of Brunei Darussalam. The implementation of TAFIS is by a consortium of local and international companies. We started with the 2001 joint venture initiative of the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di- Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Ministry of Finance with Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. BAG networks employs more than 100 people of which the majority personnel are skilled Bruneians, inline with His Majesty’s vision of ensuring development of local Bruneians.
BAG Networks is a 50 / 50 joint venture company between Ministry of Finance and Accenture objective is to be a leading info-communication technology (ICT) company in the region, by providing the most complete, innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs and objectives of businesses in today’s challenging environment. To achieve this objective, BAG Networks has established working relationships with a range of global expert service and solutions providers such as Accenture, Cisco, and Oracle, to place the company in a leading position within the industry locally. We also work closely with local hardware and service providers.
